The Pallas´s Cat, also called Manul, is a small wildcat living in the grasslands and steppe of central asia.
It is named after the german naturalist Peter Simon Pallas, who first described the species in 1776.

ok I just have to say something about Jenna-Louis Coleman leaving Doctor who

I saw a comment from somebody on facebook that I just knew someone would say. “Male companion needed” I am sorry but I have to disagree. I loved the idea of having a couple as companions (Amy and Rory). But I’m not sure if a male companion would be a good idea. If they want to have a male companion then there should equally be a female Doctor!

besides this is still my feelings on the companion front:
What if the next companion for the Doctor was just an ordinary woman. No crack in her wall, no impossible girl. Just someone the Doctor meets and thinks that she is perfect for an adventure.
That the girl playing her would be an ordinary person who doesn’t have an acting or modelling background. That anyone could audition for the part.
